The Engineering Management Department of Guangdong University of Technology currently has 17 professional teachers, including 9 teachers with senior titles, 13 teachers with doctoral degrees, 11 master tutors, and 16 teachers with professional engineering backgrounds.

It is mainly responsible for the teaching of Engineering Management major and the corresponding courses of related majors; undertaking the training of doctoral students in "Management Science and Engineering", master students in Civil Engineering and Water Conservancy, and Master of Engineering Management (MEM), and develops scientific research and technical services in the field of Engineering Management.

"Engineering Management" is a key professional construction specialty in Guangdong Province, and an international project manager qualification (IPMP) certification cooperation unit; it has passed the higher education engineering management specialty evaluation of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the master program evaluation of the Ministry of Education "Master of Engineering Management" (MEM).
