There are currently 32 registered teaching and administrative staff in the Department of Urban Public Equipment, including 6 professors (including 1 distinguished professor of the “Hundred Talents Program”), 12 associate professors (including 1 associate researcher), 12 lecturers (including 1 engineer), 1 senior experimentalist and 1 laboratory technician (engineer). 25 of the faculty have a doctoral degree and 11 have returned from studying abroad. Among the faculty, there are 18 master tutors and 1 doctoral tutor.
The Department of Urban Public Equipment is mainly responsible for the teaching of Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering, and the corresponding courses of related majors; undertakes the doctoral students in the discipline of "Civil Engineering Materials and Engineering", master students in the disciplines of "Municipal Engineering" and "Heating Industry Gas Ventilation and Air-conditioning Engineering", master students in the discipline of "Civil and Water Conservancy", “Master of Engineering Management” (MEM) professional degree master’s degree training. At the same time, it undertakes adult education and non-academic education; and carry out scientific research and technical services in Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering and Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering.
