There are 22 teachers in the Department of Civil Engineering, including 4 professors, 9 associate professors, and 15 teachers with doctoral degrees. It is mainly responsible for the teaching of civil engineering and corresponding courses of related majors; undertaking doctoral students in the disciplines of "Civil Materials and Engineering", master students in the disciplines of "Structural Engineering" and "Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and Protection Engineering", and majors in "Civil and Water Conservancy" cultivation of postgraduates, "Master of Engineering Management" (MEM) professional degree master programs; at the same time undertakes adult education and non-academic education; and carry out scientific research and technical services in the field of civil engineering.
