`Speaker Profile: Wang Xin, Ph.D., professor, master tutor. He has long been engaged in the research of structural seismic and wind resistance and has rich experience and solid foundation in structural seismic response analysis, wind-induced response analysis, structural, environmental wind tunnel tests, etc. In recent years, he has been committed to research in the field of sustainable development of cities, and has carried out a systematic research in the CFD numerical simulation of atmospheric environment, the problem of atmospheric environmental effects in town planning, and the development of highly reflective paving materials. He has led and completed 1 general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 2 projects of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province and participated in the completion of 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 EU fund project and more than 30 horizontal projects. He has published more than 50 papers, including papers as the first author in international academic journals like Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Wind & Structure. The highest single paper SCI core has been cited 37 times. He is currently a director of the Guangdong High Performance Computing Society, a communication reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and communication reviewer for International Academic Journal.
