Speaker Profile: Chen Gongfa, PhD, professor, doctoral supervisor. He graduated from the Engineering Mechanics Department of Xi'an Jiaotong University with a bachelor's degree in 1984 and a master's degree in 1987. In 2000, he graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia with a PhD in Structural Engineering in Civil Engineering. He has participated in several international scientific research groups in Australia, Germany and Japan and undertaken many research projects in structural analysis. Since 2000, more than 70 research papers have been published, 30 of which are included in SCI. In 2013, he was appointed as a distinguished professor of the "Hundred Talents Program" of Guangdong University of Technology. In 2018, he was selected as the graduate tutor of the first "Be Wealth in Ethics and Technology" of Guangdong University of Technology. He has engaged in structural mechanics analysis, structural health testing and research on fabricated building structures for a long time. In recent years, he has mainly engaged in structural damage identification research made substantial progress in the following areas: (1)Use UAV image analysis technology to collect bridge vibration response; (2)Use operational modal analysis technology to obtain structural modalities Parameters; (3) Use deep learning technology to improve the accuracy of structural damage identification.
