At present, the center has the largest structural reaction wall in China, a large-scale structural reaction steel frame with a vertical bearing capacity of 5000kN, a 1000 ton multifunctional long column hydraulic testing machine, a high-precision data acquisition system, and a high-precision displacement and load sensor. These conditions provide a strong guarantee for carrying out full-scale or large-scale structural model quasi-static experiments.
(3) Research on fatigue performance test of building structure
The center has a 500kN fatigue testing machine, its controller adopts MTS controller, and its servo valve adopts two two-stage servo valves, with large ultimate load value, which can meet the fatigue performance test of large-scale steel structure and concrete structure.
(4) Finite element simulation of structural dynamic performance and catastrophic process
The center has large commercial software ANSYS and ABAQUS; fluid analysis software CFX; FEAP and opensbbs with open source code. The newly built high-performance workstation can realize parallel high-speed computing.
The civil engineering experimental teaching demonstration center will adhere to the spirit of "unity, diligence, truth-seeking and innovation" of the school, adhere to the guiding ideology of "growing up with Guangdong and contributing to the development of Guangdong", and cultivate innovative engineering talents with local characteristics. All teachers of the center are working together to build the center into a national experimental teaching demonstration center with distinctive features, efficient operation, wide radiation and comprehensive opening.
