周思昂,广东工业大学“青年百人A+(合同约定)”特聘教授,美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校(UIUC)博士。主要从事基础设施响应机理研究及智能结构分析与设计,基于现场监测、结构实验和数值模拟探索结构构件及体系在施工、使用和极端荷载下的结构性能,旨在提高基础设施(桥梁、铁路、房屋等)的设计效率和结构可靠度,为实现更安全与经济的建筑设计、建造与修复提供科学支撑。曾获美国德州政府“德州之星”人才项目,领导美国德州大学大河谷分校(UTRGV)土木工程结构学科与实验室建设,负责、参与美国交通部及美国国家科学基金会项目2项。以通讯/第一作者发表多篇高水平国际期刊论文,且多次在美国土木工程师协会(ASCE)获奖。
